once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
I forgot to mention that all the lugs were stuffed with cotton (it's all I had at the time) to reduce the spring noise. It works.

I'm removing the modern Atlas stuff (no, I didn't drill ANY holes to install it, it's designed to replace original hardware with no drilling), the spurs are original. I have the original tom bracket but it doesn't have the set screw so a modern Ludwig bracket (again,no drilling) will be installed.
OK, last price drop: $1800.
