Done! My '59 Radio King After Major Cleaning

Loading...

To All Who Helped Me:

Thanks very much for providing me with all the great information on taking apart and cleaning my recently acquired '59 Red Sparkle Radio King.

It came out great and, with the exception of a few areas on the butt part of the strainer where chrome has come off, it is near mint.

Here is a picture of the finished product, more to come.

Job very well done. There's nothing like the satisfaction of bringing a part of drumming history back to life.

Cool ,excellent job. This only goes to re-inforce my belief and faith in restoring the badly neglected slingerland which i have obtained.I can only hope that i might be able to achieve as good a result,or somewhere near.Once again, well done to you ,and to this site and it`s members for helping in this success.
