Never heard of them, I do know who Flipper was from the TV shows of the 60's

There was also a thread on them back in 2010 on Drum Chat.

They also came up with nothing. Maybe our MIJ gurus can help . . . Jay, Kenwood ??

Here is the link to the chat

May want to research Judd Madden, he played them. He had a Dolfin Deluxe Drum kit for quite some time.

All my research keeps coming back to Melbourne.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

That thumbnail is completely useless for IDing purposes. It's a drum set.

Here are some right-clicked inter-web pics of a few "Dolfin" drum kits

Some kits have the shark fin lugs

and others the generic Pearl lug style

and the blue kit has more of a teardrop type lug

I think I may have a metal snare drum

with the same sort of shark fin shaped lugs

No badge on my drum but the lugs are the same .....I think?

They all look to me to be either an obscure Pearl stencil

or a copy of an obscure Pearl stencil late 70's to mid 80's MIT is my best guess

Though the kit in the thumbnail does look like it may be earlier some

with a two into one downtube for the dbl toms

There is a lot of hardware in those pictures I am unfamiliar with. Six-sided tom receivers? The lugs on the blue set? The swivels on the tom arms on the blue and silver sets? All the rims are Pearl design, but the rest? Adunnome...
