Therein lies the rub. If it's unopened, unseen it's ???????

I'm remembering that Gretsch green nitron Birdland kit that was uncovered in perfect shape with a full set of old K Zildjians that still had the paper labels on the cups...The hardware was gold plated so there was no corrosion...etc. Apparently, a guy bought the kit, died suddenly and his wife kept it stored away in the attic or something....sticks, heads, everything...time capsule stuff. I think it sold for a ton of money.
