I would only recommend Dream cymbals to people that only play jazz, don't hit very hard, and want to replace cymbals often.
Hmmm, did you break some of them? If you had to "beat the hell out of" the 24" Dream Bliss....maybe you were using the wrong cymbal for the application. Flat rides are not meant to be played loudly and bashed on.
I play thin Dream Bliss crashes in my rock band (thin enough to easily flex in your hands). I hit them pretty hard and have had absolutley no problems for over 3 years now. I have said this 1000 times and I'll say it again: If you choose the right cymbal for the job, mount the cymbal properly and play it with the proper technique, you should NEVER break a cymbal.
