do you have a wood you wish your stix were made out of?

any drummers have a stick they wish they could have made in another wood to compliment the sound of their kits better? what kind of wood?

Very cool website, I was looking at the Jatoba wood, I use the old Vic Firth Matt Cameron signature stick which is a heavier 5B, I'll give a few pairs of your sticks a try after christmas!Yes Sir:Santa:

Yes!!! Ever since that drum circle in the mountains with my anger management group, I've dreamed of this ... WOODchuck. That would be so cool. The little furry freaks squeaking out the deepest and darkest of grooves. Their little claws would give such a clear multi-ping on an old cymbal ... oh man. So cool.

I`ve made them outta window sash, gutters, doors, flooring, baseball bats, and lots of demo scrap, very old woods, ...nothing new to me !!

Note: don`t use fruit woods like apple,cherry,pear, ect.ect. They have too many knots, and unstable grain !!

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!
