Hi, If you have one or have had one please tell me about it. I might ahave a chance to get one in nice shape but would like a review. Thanks.
Do you have a Sound Creation Bright Ride?

Hi there; I'm new to this forum, but some of you from other forums may have heard of me before.
In any event, I own a Sound Creation Bright Ride (20") and I really like it; it's like a 602 Ride on steroids; a bright ping, moderate wash (more wash than the SC Bell or SC Dark rides....I own those too) and a decent shoulder crash.
What size is the one that you are looking at and how much?
Hi, I'm glad you found this forum. The cymbal I want is 20" but i'm afraid it's a case of champagne taste and beer budget. He wants $380 for it and is sure he'll get more than that for it on ebay. What do you think? Thanks for the critique - I have only heard it on the phone and maybe in recordings but I really would love to own one.

I don't think that he'll get more than $300 for it on ePrey; the SC line is prized by "jazzers" but the SC Bright Ride is neglected by "jazzers" due to it's bright "ping". I've been telling folks over at Cymbalholic.com that the Bright is underrated.
Take a look on ePrey and you'll see that the desirable Sound Creation Cymbals are: 22" Dark Ride, 20" Dark Crash, 22" Bell Ride (Nicko McBrain!), 20" Mellow, the short crashes (with the flattened bell) and the hi-hats.
Offer him $300 at the most; if he balks, then keep your eyes peeled on ePrey, cragslist, kijiji.com and other sites.
Also, join a few more fine forums like this one and you're bound to find someone that has one up for grabs. I'm keeping mine. :D
Here's pics of mine:

I love the SC line...thay really have their own vibe and feel...
Hey, thanks for the pics, except I think I just drooled on myself...
Yeah, we'll see what he says. Seems like even with the economy not good, people are still paying a LOT for these. I hope you're right, I'll keep searching, something will happen. I'd love to hear those hats!

Hey Jimmy;
Certain models command the "big bucks", most notably, the 22" Dark Ride (prior to the "New Dimensions" ink), the Short Crash (any size) and the 20" Dark Crash. The 20" Mellow, which is very desirable, tends to go for $200 - 300 on ePrey, depending on condition. Hats are desirable, with the 13" sizes being difficult to find, and the 14" sizes pretty much selling for the same amounts, whether they are "regular" or Sound Edge (approx $300 - 400) and you'll find "Dark", Dark Medium" and Dark Heavy" models. Your Bright ride for $380, as I mentioned, seems a little steep, considering that it isn't scarce, and that it's not as "desirable" (although I think that it is seriously under-appreciated; it's a magnificent cymbal). The SC Bright is similar (but still different) than the 20" 602 Heavy, which approaches the $300 mark on ePrey from time to time. The profile, the hammering and the lathing are different on both cymbals; only the brand name (Paiste) the alloy (B20) and the size are the same.
Keep your eyes peeled for any SC ride; you might be able to score a Dark Ride in a smaller size (20", 18") or a Bell Ride (22", 20") for less than what your friend is selling the 20" Bright Ride.
