Indeed I certainly do. I think it has a vintage look. I also think vintage kits before the late 60's. Anything newer seems modern to me. Just my thoughts don't hate me for it ;)

I have both and I have to say the single tom give me the warm fuzzy Vintage feel and look.

Yes, I have matured into that preferred setup after gigging with 2 up/1 down for most of 30 years. I also like Rogers with Swivomatic hardware for late 50's to mid 60's drums and Slingerlands with Set-o-matic from the mid 60's to early 70's.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

I've played 1 up 1 down my whole life. Lately I've been diggin two up on top of a 20 inch kick tho! Call me crazy!

I have to agree with the plouhman swivo tom arms are my first choice BUT if i could have found a rogers set in Bonham sizes I would have bought it but i instead got ludwigs and if i am going that way it must have a rail consolette
