NO NO! I have a Red vistalite set and there NO cracks the Basses are virgin and the toms look GREAT. But it does mater who had them before. I got mine from Frank Pepitone the MAN in VISTALITE DRUMs sizes are 2-14x22, 9x13,10x14, 16x16, 16x18, 6.5x14, and just got a 8x12. They are my Dream kit Don Coppage

I have had my vistas from new {tequila sunrise 24,13,14,18,6.5" snare), bought in 1978. they have been heavily gigged for 30 years and have no cracks and very few scratches. There is a bit of snare rash on the 13" tom which i would love to remove but I am scared of doing any damage. They have always been stored and carried in hard cases and kept indoors between gigs.
