Hi, Folks

Does anyone know of any company that can digitally print designs on drum wrap? I'm attempting to have a photo of some vintage pearl transformed into drum covering material for a project I'm doing. Thanks!

I should have mentioned that I contacted them but they just said "no". No idea why but I guess I need a different source. Nothing complicated- just a photo of a pearl finish that I need applied to a square piece of wrap about 20x20.

I'm curious as to why Bum Wrap rejected your custom order, as they have a link right on their site to submit a custom wrap design. Maybe your original image didn't meet the strict criteria they list as a requirement.

Good luck with the project, and don't forget to share the results with us.

I dont have a clue. The original was high resolution, so I doubt that was the problem. I certainly could have provided possibly better photos but I guess it doesnt matter. I asked why they couldnt do it and received no reply. Dont think I'll bother with that company again.

After talking with a few different people who do this type of thing, it seems that reproducing a wrap from a photo of vintage pearl is probably not going to produce very good results.

Thanks for all of your input!

Maybe so, but if you have a high resolution photo, or if it's possible, an actual piece or sample of the original wrap, it may be possible..I'd still keep trying until all avenues have been explored.

Good luck !
