Difference in 60's Bass Drum Rods & Claws

I need 8 bass drum rods & claws for a 1967 Ludwig Downbeat kit . What is the difference in the 60's & 70's rods & claws. I have a 1978 Vistalite kit and they look the same to me. Are the interchangeable and know one will now the differnce? I want to buy the original 1967's but don't know how to tell which are form the 60's.

They should be basically the same. The only difference might be in the quality and weight, but the average joe won't know the difference. If you sell it, you'll want to inform folks what they are.
