Nice collection!

Thanks! I'd be really interested in your drum if you ever think about selling!

Mark - Very nice drum collection and display setup ! I like it !!Wish I had the room to display some of my kits vs. "hiding" them away in cases here and there + the garage overhead so the wife doesn't realize the extent of my collection .... LOLDoug

Hi Doug!

Thanks for the compliments! This whole thing started when my girlfriend lived in Riverside and had a large back room with nothing in it. It was her idea to turn it into a "drum room". You gotta love her!

After my parents passed away in 2013 and 2014, I purchase the house from my brothers. Being single, I can pretty much do what I want! LoLoLoLo All my drums were moved from my girlfriend's house to my house and I set everything up in the large back bedroom. It is pretty cool!

Attached are some pictures of when I moved everything in. Complete kits are in cases and all those boxes contain snare drums. I'm way out of control!

I have a sparkle green one collecting dust for the last 20 years in my shop!

Nice. This one would be expected to have COB hoops also.

I'm going to keep the sp. green snare for now, I'll let you know though!

Yes I'm sure the hoops are original and COB.

I have stuff too! Been sitting for years.

Keep in mind folks, that the parts on any old vintage drum, or even not that old, may not be original. Kudos to you that you thought to use a magnet to tell. I have found COB rims and old die cast Gretsch on *** or other drums that I have bought and do my best to get them back onto the "correct" drum...
