The title says it all, I have not been able to find one.

Yes. I looked at a 10-12-14-15-16-18-26 Blakrome set a few years ago, so they do exist. Google "Slingerland 26 bass drum" and you might find something.

Yes, I have one. It is a Big brass badge, Nickel hardware. Blue/white duco original finish long gone. Maple outer Mag. inner, 2 3/4" maple re-rings. 20 large beavertail lugs, 40 Slingerland washers etc... In tear down/restoration now but it does make huge boom.
Anything I can help with just holler.

Jeff - My 40's Radio Kings have a 26" bass drum.

My understanding is that a 14x 26" was still available as a special order with kits right up until to the late 70's..
Cheers

Yep... I'm looking at one sitting in the corner of my living room right now...
Oh good to know. I would like to find one, one that is drilled for the regular lugs, not beavertail, unless they have the same hole spacing. You see, I just got some harware from a good friend from this forum recently and I am starting to look for shells. I cant purchase anything until I get some work sold but I am thinking ahead. The hardware is from a 1985 cardboard shell kit. It had the super set-O-matic tom mount system. Not sure if a 26" bass shell is the way to go with this particular set of hardware, just thinking about it.
Thank you!

Does hole spacing on the '85 lugs match the beavertail or cigar lugs? Most, if not all, of the 26" slingys I've seen have those two lug types
