DERI Set 60s with Hardware and Cymbals scored!

Loading...

HY guys!

I scored this old DERI Set from the 60s in a wrap color i never saw before...i think Sonor used that wrap as well!

It came with a complete Set of Premier flatbase hardware-Ajax Hihats - Paiste Stambul Crash/Ride 20"-and a Paiste Stambul Crash 14" with sizzles and a Premier stool.

All togehter i paid about 180 Euro..maybe 200$

Have a look at the pics - they show the state i got the kit. It´s in very good condition!

Would some of you know the name of the wrap? How much is the value of the AJAX Hihats?

Any help would be nice;-)

regards

Christian

O-oh!!! Congrat, Chris !!!

It's my favorite gorgeous wrap called "M-Kristall Schwarz-Silber" in Sonor catalogues. It was used Sonor/ Tromsa/ Trowa/ Lefima/ Tacton/ Amati.

I sure that it's "Mazzucchelli" made because the "Deutsche Celluloid" for that time already was discontinued a wrap producing.

Tromsa and Amati also had used more rare analog as "Schwarz Gold".

Our collegue Phil 'Calfskin' said that were also a green and red shades for these wrap types, but I never seen such colours.

Cheers,

George.

Thanks guys:-)

Allright George, thank you for your comment-now i know the name:-)

The Snare is metric 35,8cm needs a special head and the racktom is pre international like the old Premier toms 11-7/8"-but a 12" head fits! It sounds really nice-even with the crapy heads at the moment. I already ordered the heads for it and i will start to clean it up:-)

@bartw

yes the the bassdrum claws and T-rods are really nice looking- i think ! Sonor used that style as well:-)

That's right ---old german metric stamping hoops are quite wide and standard heads possible to fit.

Cheers,

George.

I had never heard of this brand until this thread, then after reading this I was perusing eBay and saw a Deri snare. It needs love but looks cool.
