I find it hilarious how horrible Densmore's drums sound. And he's playing top quality stuff! Wouldn't make a difference if he had the cheapest Made in China beginner drums...

... but he's just so good at what he does that the sound becomes his own and it suddenly feels just right!

I agree with JD and FX . . .

JD is definitely in his own groove . . . and needs a drum key.

Those new mod oranges look awesome, but what’s up with John’s tuning? He’s got ‘em so low that he’s negating the increased projection of taking the bottom head off. I wonder how these would sound the way they are in a mix? Also, now that Ludwig’s done mod orange, we have to convince them to reissue an accurate and real (not printed like Bum Wraps) Psychedelic Red!
