Delmar Red Onyx vs Red Ripple

Loading...

Hi,

Been trying to find photo's of drums in those two finishes to no avail really. There was a red onyx Rogers kit in the sold section, but I couldn't really see it up close, and I'm not sure how much the current Delmar red onyx would differ from that. I've seen some photo's of 'wine red ripple' online, but not 'red ripple'. I've seen the small square photo's on drum wrap for sale web sites but am more keen to see actual real kits photographed..?! Help?

Richard.

There is a HUGE difference between old school vintage red onyx and the stuff they sell these days. However ... You can get the wrap that looks like the old stuff, but you have to be patient and send samples for matching.

I was wondering if the modern stuff would look sort of cheap and modern?!
