Del Rey Snare Drum

Teisco a japanese manufacturer marketed drum sets and sold them under the brand name Del Ray..this is all i know at the moment??

I really love the blue sparkle wrap and also the badge on the Del Ray..which is why i had to buy it!!

Not sure on the year?

Diamond, Nice little snare you have.The year is about 1966 to 69ish.The shell should be a 4 ply with rings. If the shell is a 9ply ring it would date the drum after 1969.If you ever need strainer parts for your drum i have many.Watch out of the handle on the strainer these are made out of pot metal and brake off alot of the time..It looks like the bottom head is a original to the drum is the name of the head "Stagemaster" i say this because i think i see the white plastic ring on the head.Not a metal ring..Mikey

Thanks for the reply..1966 sounds good to me my friend..the bottom skin doesnt have a makers name on it, but yeah agree it could still be the original one!!..
