Deal or No Deal (Yamaha kit)?

Hi Folks,

I caught this offer in a local ad. I don't know much about early Yamahas, but the kit looks pretty nice in the one pic he posted. He's asking $175. I'm not really in the market for a new kit... but I have been thinking about picking up a nice little jazz set sometime. Any comments appreciated.

"Complete 1970's Yamaha jazz drum kit with natural finish, includes original kick drum, floor tom, rack tom, and newer kick pedal, snare, snare stand, and hi hat stand. Also includes heads for all drums."

Unless it's completely trashed, $175 is no brainer territory for me. Early Yammy stuff seems to be growing in desirability and I've read good things about 'em.

Thanks for input, guys. I'm thinking along the same lines as you two. If I happen to snag it, I'll post some pics after I clean it up!
