More research to be done but as far as I can tell Dave Clark didn't use American Rogers apart from appearances on US TV. Now there's a bombshell!
It turns out that my drum kit was not just used in the UK, but was a global star!
Someone posted this Video on a Fb page last week.

Murray The K – It's What's Happening, Baby was a television special on CBS-TV hosted by Murray the K. The show aired on June 28, 1965.
The DC5 perform from around 7 mins in. This is Dave's English Rogers. The one I purchased last year. Check out the English Rogers bass drum logo, the position of the damper on the 12x8 and the silver bass hoops.
Concert photos taken in the USA a fairly rare and only a small number lend themselves to dating or identifying the location, but those that have sufficient detail show that he used my Red Sparkle kit for all their tours up to the end of 1965. After that he used the White Pearl English Rogers which replaced mine.
As the DC5 were the first of the British Invasion bands to tour the USA (the Beatles didn't do this till Aug 1964) this means my drum kit lead The British Invasion - he he!
Various live US photos - from the 1st and 2nd US tours.

I am advised that these are from their second US tour, Public Hall Cleveland Ohio Dec. 1964
This is from Milkaukee 11th December 1965 ..............
We all recognize this photo from The Rogers Book. It appears that this was taken only six weeks before the competition to give the set away was announced.
If anyone can date or locate any of the photos above or has other live US photos I would very much appreciate the help.
Thanks.
