Dating Ludwig Speed King pedals?

Hi Oddball

I think you mean the little 1/4” or 5/32” hole in the spacer/support tab in front of the goal post? That little hole is on all Speed Kings and is there so that you can get a punch in there to attach or remove the hoop clamp. The clamp is held in by a roll pin (spring pin)
