damaged trixon speedfire project - Page 1

Hi everyone!

What would be a just price for this old Trixon speedfire kit? I know that pristine condition kits can go up to 2000 euros, but this one doesn't look too good and the bassdrum wrap is totally damaged. Seller is asking 1000 euros. I'm don't really need these drums, but I am tempted to pick them up for a nice restoring project. So this means buying some spare parts (tom hoop) and re-wrapping the bass drum (and maybe some new extemely expensive remo-heads). Are they worth the 1000 euros, and what would be the value of a completely restored kit?

I don't know about a kit in that condition, to be honest - how easy would it be to restore it?? Can you actually inspect the kit and have a close look? I mean, are the issues you mentioned the only problems or is there more??

well, I do have a parial trixon here..

needs a Cpl things but pretty good shape..

Its a early 60s 20" bass & 13" rack tom with hardware..

Missing the flr tom..

But both in a nice Pink Sparkle..and has a set of the cool loking Trixon T rods and claws...wrap is good..
