Welcome! Could you please post some pixs so we can get an idea? There is no telling without them, and a good shot of the badge as well.

The only "Dallas" I am aware of is the connection to Arbiter in England. There was a Dallas/Arbiter company at one point. I am unaware of a specific Dallas brand of drums, however.

Dallas drums are English - the same company made cheaper lines like Gigster, top range stuff like Carlton and later in the 60s Hayman when Ivor Arbiter bought them "hence Dallas-Arbiter". In pre 1950s times Premier made the drums for them usually under the "Jedson" brand (J E Dallas and Sons) so this is essentially Premier dance band drum from the 30s or earlier. It will need the missing bits but someone out there will have them - I have one just the same in Gold Glitter

I have this Dallas-London snare here. It's a very solid drum!

It came to me with the old kevlar heads but the reso split (brittle) when I tried to tune it - haha - not good. I put a Black Max batter & Falams reso on the drum - expensive heads. Should not have done that - it does not sound good for my taste.......so I put a regular Evans G series head on it and it sounds a lot better. I guess if I was playing in a marching band (drum line etc.) the Black Max would be fine.

You can see the drum has gut snares. It's a pretty old drum in beautiful condition and it came with the original slot key, canvas bag and shoulder strap.

I would say Dallas has made some good drums - going by the quality of this one.
