Gary - The cymbals I'm keeping is a matched set of hollow logo Zildjians that are hands down the best sounding set of cymbals I've ever played/owned. 22" hollow logo ping ride, 18" HL medium crash, 16" HL thin crash, 15" HL hi-hats. They kill. Anybody that sits down behind my kit comments on them immediately. I love them unto death do us part... :D

Sorry that they're not right for you, but "those hats" as you call them happen to be top of the line Turkish cymbals that any drummer from newbie to pro would be happy to own/play.
