I bought my 22" A. Zildjian ride (2820g) new in 1965.
I recently realized it has a 50's stamp (No dots)
In my younger days I was not always very mindful when transporting my cymbals. No damage really, other than a couple of surface scratches, but there are some small nicks around the edge. I guess what are called "flea bites". If you run your fingernail around the cymbal you can feel them.
Question is. Would it be advisable to take some VERY fine sandpaper or emery cloth to the edge to smooth it back out?
Or, should it just be left alone?
