as you guys know iam not up to speed on vintage cymbals.I always go by the way they sound with that said.today i got-{5}- some older small size cymbals three are marked Zild they seem to be from the 30's.The sizes are 11 7/8'',11 3/4'' these two have been signed by worker under the bell. The last one is 12".One question i have on the 12 under the Zild stamp under made in the U.S.A it also has U.S. in bigger letters what does this stand for?...The other two symbals are these size's 9 7/8'' on front side of cymbal its has a few stamps in black ink its round in shape and reads made in Italy...the other stamp is a half moon with two stars above it,on the back side of the cymbal black ink stamp "paper Thin"----the last cymbal is a 10 7/8" no stamps on top side but on the back side black ink stamp in a rounded shape reads made in Italy also is signed by worker in black ink at the bell..What are these cymbals Zild's?? I know photos would help but i don't still know how to post them on the forum..So if any member would post them for me please email me i will send you the photos to post....These cymbals will be up for sale when i know for sure what they are...Thanks Mikey
Cymbal help....
Cymbalholic.com, perhaps?
Dead dogs like rusty fire hydrants!!!
The larger U.S. stamp on Zildjian cymbals tends to mean it was a military issue more than likely.
The round ink badges are more than likely Pashas.
Email me an I'll see what I can find out for you Mikey.

I could have used your Help. You are the Cymbal God right?.I went to your site that was no help at all to me.....Mikey
All the correct answers were already give to you by backbeatkeeper, so I saw no need to jump into this thread just to confirm info that was already said. If it was wrong THEN I would have jumped in.
And just for the record: Cymbalholic is not my site, or anything close to it. If you go over there looking for correct anwers to your cymbal questions and you don't get them, oh well. That just goes to show you just how much that site has declined from what is once was. I don't consider it to be good for anything these days except maybe for an unsolicited arguement, and I don't recomend it to anyone. Its just a boy's club for drummers with Cymbal fetishes very few of which know much of anything, and nothing more.
