Cymbal Gig Bag

Loading...

Hello all,

I'm in the market for a cymbal bag and want a few opinions...

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Reunion-Blues-Designer-Cymbal-Bag-105647994-i1416233.gc

is this case really worth it? and how does it match up to this:

I want something that will protect my cymbals, last a long time, and be worth the investment.

Thanks,

Ron

Question......do any of these bags have seperate compartments each cymbal can go in? I have a lower end Zildjian bag where everything sits together. Not a bad bag but not ideal either. Back when I had my old trap case I used to put each cymbal into a old T shirt to help protect them a bit.

If you buy Reunion Blues designer bag, I recommend Reunion Blues Continental which is a knapsack style and has separate padded cushion and hi hats pocket. Zildjian gig bag is cheap, but cymbal inserts are not good, IMO.

I have one similar to the Zildjian bag, except it has the GC logo and carrying handles, instead of backpack loops. I love it and it's lasted a good while. Separation liners in the main compartment and in the external, smaller compartment. Heavy canvas construction. $200+ for the other one seems frivolous.

Good luck whichever route you go.
