Cymbal came in a pizza box

Loading...

I was suprised when I recieved in the mail a cymbal in a pizza box and was prepared for the worse when I opened it, to my suprise, it was fine. well packed, seemed to be nice and secure. So I shipped one my self the other day the same way. I never thought of using one to ship cymbals, I think the key is packing and taping all the seems well. Heck I have seem some diasters shipped to me, people tear up a huge box put the cymbal in fold and tape it, not good, this is neat idea. I wish I thought if it years ago.

It`s a great way to ship cymbals as long as they are new boxes...I once had a cymbal shipped to me in a used pizza box!! Needless to say, that seller didn`t get high ratings from me...

Cheers

Did your cymbal sound kinda cheesy?

Sorry, I will go away now.

Thank you!

LOL!! Funny thing was that there were still traces of pepperoni left in the box!! When I messaged the seller of my findings, he stated that he didn`t like pepperoni on his pizza, so I must have confused him with another seller!! Unbelievable!!

Cheers

I had a rare pair of 13" 602 SE hi hats sent to me from Sweden once...

I about had a coronary when the mailman brought them to my door in a box not much bigger then a pizza box...

I emailed them and said to use way more protection then that when you ship something...

When I get some item in a small box like that,I feel the person is being cheap...Hmmmm

Uline.com sells about every size box you want...and will be at your door the next day!

24 Hr ordering too!

The heavy-wall cardboard pizza boxes are about as sturdy as any other box. However, if someone ever shipped me an expensive pie in one of the thin cardboard (white) pizza boxes, I -would- freak out.

Too many great drums to list here!

ive also gotten few small cymbals shipped to me in pizza boxes. just never had the courage to send any out in one though. I agree that it should be fine as long as packed and sealed up properly.

Yah, those thin boxes would provide no protection at all, but if your cymbal doesn't arrive in 30 minutes or less, it's free!
