I missed last year but plan to attend this years. Especially since Kenny Aronoff will be there. Also gonna try and attend his master class the day before. Who else plans to go? Would like to put some faces to names.

Jay, Glenn:

Don't think I'm going to be able to make it this year. Last year's show and clinics were great, and WFL III gave a great presentation on 19th C. drumming along with a demonstration of early traps/sound effects. I see the admission price has just about doubled this year, but the clinics are worth the price of admission. From what I've heard, our little CT show beats the Chicago show in the vintage gear department. Lots of tables piled with hoops, hardware, and shells....

Maybe Tommy P. will show up. Give us a review with some pics if you go.

Mike, hope you can somehow make the show. Yes indeed admission has been bumped up a bit I see. I didn't notice that! And for sure tons of nice vintage gear and parts pins to rummage through. Great clinics this year. I was blown away when I saw who they were. I wonder if that music instrument flea market is the same day with $1 admission? I usually see a post on CL. Never been to it but the drum show my priority anyway. :)

The first year I went to the drum show my guitar player brought me to the $1 flea show. If you're a guitar guy it's the place. I saw about 3 drums in the whole place ( a set of LP matadores, and a newer MIT snare ) but some really nice guitars, amps, pedals. For a $1 it's worth a check, ya never know what may be in there.

Thanks Jay. I kind of wondered if there was any decent drum stuff there. I figure for $1 you can't go wrong to check it out.
