From Lissy

Hi Mikey, the asking price is 490,- Euros - which means almost 700,- USD. The same price is announced since I first bumped into the site of the seller - it´s the drum shop where I got my orange wrapped Yammies last summer (you remember?).The Yamahas were also priced 490,- Euros, but in the end I got them for 250,-. So I think, in consideration of the "long lasting advertisement", that they also would go for less money. Hey, that guy also still has the Star kit in that insane wrap (see pic), which is also 490,- for more than two years now - maybe his standard-price for mij?:DAccording to what Ralf told me, two years ago the same asking price also included a snare that has been sold extra meanwhile.Thank you for sharing your knowledge!(And, once again, sorry Wayne!)Lissy

My friend, Lissy! You would do well to collect either of those kits! They are lovely, and both wraps are rare. The music store owner did wrong by selling that snare off, it could cause him to own the rest for a very long time. Offer him 100, explain that the snare was worth more than the rest of the drums combined! You will not find that Lava Pearl snare but once in a lifetime!

Hello there, Jonni!

Yes, you are right, my friend! I already would have done so, if my budget had allowed it!

Have to sell several items of my automobil hobby first, then I´ll get in contact with this man later this summer (maybe in August). He´s a nice guy to deal with - he came down to 250,- on the Yamahas himself and would have charged 500,- for both the Star and the Yamaha if I would have taken them. So let´s see what he says about a deal including the Crown and the Star kits.

(Btw, I don´t know if the Star snare was a wooden one with matching wrap or a if it was a metal shell snare.)

Jazz is not dead - it just smells funny! FZ
