Hello. I am weekend warrior with a wife, job and two kids. I am here because I bought a Ludwig Supraphonic and I am looking for more info about it.

My current set up is 10, 12, 14, 22 Sonor Delites, Stewart Copeland COB snare.

Sorry that's as vintage as I get.

My wife has a 78 Les Paul custom in silverburst if that helps. :)

I dont know much about supras (although I do love their sound) but is your stewart copeland snare a new Tama one? I dont know much about Stewart Copeland's but he is one of my favorite drummers. How do you like this snare?

It is the Tama snare. I bought it used because it was a good deal. But I love it! The thicker shell and diecast top hoop give it a very aggresive sound. I have the Supra (dryer), a Lars Ulrich snare (oddly, more sensitive) and a PDP hammered brass (meh). The Copeland is the boldest and the ring is controlable. I play with/against a couple halfstacks so I like the volume. It is my main snare.

As Stewart described it. "it will bring a bird down from the sky"
