Crazy Slingerland Question...

Loading...

Hi, all you great people that are a lot smarter than I.

I had a crazy idea, and wanted to ask what you all think. I have a 70,s Slingerland bass, and was wanting to put radio king t handles, claws and beaver tail on it to make kinda a modified radio king. I know it would better to just buy a real radio king, but thought this may be cool looking. Have you all seen anything like this or is a stupid idea. Just messing g around. Bucky

Not particularly a "stupid" idea. The lugs will fit the same holes so there's no drilling. The process is easily reversible so you're not really "hurting" anything. Therefore if you think you'd like it better like that then go for it.

I built up a Slingy style kit using those lugs and it looks cool. In my case the shells are Pearl Fiberglass shells...but I do like the end result.

Cool looking kit, those old Pearl fiberglass shells sound good as well!
