crack in wrap thread

Not sure what happened, but the thread I started asking for advice on a crack in vintage tom wrap just disappeared.

One person had suggested a resin repair by auto glass company.

Just wanted to say it worked like a charm... you can barely tell where the crack was.... time will tell as to how it holds over time.

Shanmoon - It was my suggestion and I am pleased you were willing to try it! Did the repair tech give you any insight on the resin he used in relation to the type of material the wrap was made out of? I know he had asked for that info before hand.

I’m sure most here will be interested in how it works over time!
