Grommets should be ready late next week, I will have both long and short for 5 and 3 ply shells. I do have a small stash of N.O.S. black and silver badges.

There will be two sizes, for 3 and 5 ply shells, I am making these just a little bit shorter than the originals, there's just too much material to squeeze down by hand. The long ones will be about .450(11.4 MM) under the head, the short ones will be about .320(8.128MM) under the head, still plenty of stock inside the shell.

11.4 will be too short for me..bummer..I roll my grommets on the inside, I don't flare them.

There's still a 1/16 of an inch inside the shell, I flair it partially, then squeeze it with a flat piece the rest of the way.

GoneDrumming, how are you rolling the grommet? I just finished making these and they look great! Compared to the originals I have they are dead on, but I did make them a little shorter like I said because I use the flathead screw/washer/nut tool method to install them and it squeezes better and looks better inside with less material. We're still discussing pricing on these, but they will be availible.

Id take 3 of the 5 ply grommets when you figure out pricing.

Sorry for the delay on these, but we're finally in business! Grommets are ready to ship first ones went out this morning. Available for 3 and 5 ply shells,these are slightly shorter than the originals like I've said, they only stick out about a 1/16" on the inside of the shell, but a 5 ply grommet on a 3 ply drum sticks out about 1/4" if you want to go that route.
