I have a brass shell 14 x 6 1/2" Ludwig snare, serial number 2064089. It has the blue/olive tag. It has a Pearl snare throw and I am trying to find the correct style of strainer I'd need to restore the drum. I have a rough idea but my question is : would the drum most likely have had the old style with the multiple holes or just the more common one with a clamp?
