Coronet Snare Last viewed: 4 days ago

I just acquired a vintage Coronet 10 lug chrome Snare that is in pristine shape. I know this was made in the Pearl factory in Japan and that it was private labeled for one of Pearls many, many distributors.

Question: Is it of the same quality as the Pearl product? The hardware looks identical to a Pearl 10 lug chrome.

Thanks

While pictures would certainly help, I would say that the drum is of the same quality as a drum with the "Pearl" name on it. I've had snare drums that are absolutely identical except for the badge!

If it an actual "made in Japan" snare, then chances are, it's off the same production line that all the pearl snares of the period were.

Same quality.
