Mods here might move this to the For Sale section. In the meantime, let me contribute to the discussion regarding this snare.

I have 2 of these 10 luggers and have had a couple in the 8 lug version as well (all this same shell and these same lugs). I HIGHLY recommend this snare. If you want to hear what it sounds like, search "CX-500 solo final" to find my solo I posted on Youtube - (or find it here in our video section - in a thread that I invited people to post their solos). It will give you a very good idea of what this snare sounds like. Very little EQ was applied to it (only 2 knobs) and so it is pretty much a natural sound you are hearing.

It has plenty of sensitivity and is a very dynamic snare. While the 8 lug version is very good as well, I believe the 10 lug is a bit better and it is one reason why I have not made it a high priority to get an Acrolite yet for my metal snare arsenal.

BTW - RnSs - you might want to mention if it has an adjustable butt. Most of these do.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!
