Purchased a 61 ludwig and this snare came along with the rest. It sounds really good too!

Hey, Jordon!

I have a set of Tempos (without the "r"). I am relatively certain that my kit is a stencil of Star and that your snare was made by Pearl. jonnistix and Mikey777 are far more knowledgeable than I though. Either one of these gentlemen, along with several others on this forum, could give you some valuable background.

That snare has "Pearl" written all over it from the muffle control knob to the badge...

Cheers

Isn't that funny haha "without the r"

They just decided at one point to not put the "r" anymore haha

I wasn`t commenting on it`s worth...I was just agreeing with Salty with Pearl being the manufacturer...

I have a few MIJ snares in my arsenal...They do sound good once you have the right head combinations and tune them into their sweet spots...

Cheers

Yeah I never thought you were commenting on the worth haha sorry for the confusion. It had a nice crack even with this old head on it. But then again if you tighten any snare it's going to sound decent.
