I just completed the clean-up of this super cool Dixie snare. It had mismatched and broken lugs on it, and some old stickers. I transplanted the lugs from a donor snare, and polished it up. I love the wrap. It's Ludwig bowling ball, but with a glossy surface and foil silver streaks. I'd love to have a kit in this wrap, hit me up if you have one!

Thanks Mike. I am starting to get how guys end up with a wall full of snare drums. They can be relatively inexpensive (especially MIJ), and a satisfying restoration project that you can complete in a few hours.
As for the decor in our house...I've been collecting and refinishing nerdy science and industrial stuff for a long time. My wife for one, is surprised that people actually think it's cool now.
