They are cookie cutter imports, however the color is very cool. If the appeal of the drums to you is worth that much coin, then its not a bad deal. I would say to check out everything very closely so you know at least they can sound good.

[COLOR="DarkRed"]Hey, hey, hey ! A 60's Japanese stenciil kit....my personal faves for the budget market.
Probably worth no more than $200-250 usd...but...if you clean 'em ut and tweak the bearing edges a bit...they make quite decent jazzy sorta kits.
They aren't rockers....they will never get all that loud.
But they do have unmistakable '60's MOJO....
