Completed Set-up!

Loading...

I completed a cataloged set-up today with the purchase of a Rogers/Zilco 20" ride cymbal. I already had found the Rogers hi-hats. I chose to get the Rogers cymbals to make the entire outfit Rogers, though many buyers would have obtained Zildjian cymbals.

I have all the components now, though they are not all in the same place. I think by fall this year I should be able to get them all gathered to one place for a final photo. I'll update you all then.

Dan! What a great looking kit! The Citadel, from the 1967 catalog, is one of my favorites. Curious as to where your other components are that you won't have them until Fall, 2018!

Fantastic! And with the Rogers cowbell and cymbal no less! Can't wait to see your final catalog shot. And I'm guessing that you're going to put that clean reso head on the batter side so your set will look identical to the catalog?

Very nice! The color is rich and vibrant and the hardware looks terrific. Unless the picture is hiding the aging process, it looks like its in virtually mint condition.

That kit looks great. I don't know much about the Rogers version of the AZCO cymbals. I've got one trademark on my site:

plus the two other AZCO Canada trademarks I know about:

Do your cymbals have the first one I've shown, or something else? Any additional info would be great so I can add it to my examples of all the different trademarks.

Wow my hats off to you!

Now that's how you are supposed to collect a catalog kit.

Nice job.

Putting together a catalog kit is such a cool idea. I remember going to Manny's Music on 48th street when they'd get the new catalogs in for the year, running home and burying myself in my room until I drooled over every picture. I wanted some of those kits so badly I could taste them. Your catalog kit project brought back a lot of great memories.

Hey Dan

Absolutely love the catalogue build and in one of my favorite Rogers wraps. The Red Onyx reall is a beautiful kit. Great to see someone pulling all the parts and pieces together this way. Looking forward to the pictures whe it's done
