Wow surf I'm biting my fist. 4 c-notes. Who would think that they would go for that, but after my investment in hardware and a snare (in the works!), I'll have close to $200 already in my kit. One day a floor tom is bound to roll around which may bring me close to $250-$300, so who knows? I just fell in love with this wrap the first time I saw the bass drum and rack tom come out of this guy's trunk the day I bought it. There's a floor tom on eBay and the seller is wanting to gouge for $189 and it doesn't surprise me that it has not sold after repeated attempts. He just will not lower his price.

hey, I'm a long way away but that looks very expensive to me especially as it's missing some parts etc.

I have to agree with Andrew. Nice, clean but a little over priced. Should be a bit closer to 250.

Alright, all you "smarty-arties"-who made this one?It has the large Slingy-morph into- Rogers lugs with big threads.I disassembled a set like this to part out 25 years ago and I believe it had thick luan shells-maybe 9 ply.Not the common Star/Pearl drums I remember.

Whew. Common sense prevails, on this forum at least. Surf, keep us posted on his success (or lack thereof) in selling them. I just can't help but wonder that there's someone out there with more $$ than cc popping for 'em.

'Twas the same thing that drove the vintage guitar hype (actually, already happening to the US vintage drum scene - git 'em while you can!!), despite the vintage guitar press (vintage guitar magazine, price guide etc.) best efforts.

Now, everything is "collectible" and overpriced.

Still not worth the asking price. I stand tall at 250 as big money for this kit.
