Clutch to fit vintage hi hats?

Loading...

Hi guys,

I picked up a set of trans stamp hats with the small hole, can anyone help with information on a good modern clutch that works well, nothing to big and heavy.

The clutch Bill at "classic vintage drums" uses looks pretty good, I've added a link below so someone might be able to give me the heads up on that one.

Big thanks

Above one is seemingly Remo Quick-Lock Hi-Hat clutch.

In addition, Modern DW clutch suitable for my Trans.

The easiest way to go is to enlarge the hole to 1/2". I know some think it's sacrilege. It usually trues up the hole and makes it infinitely more user friendly. And if anyone tells me a 1/16" change in hole diameter changes the sound, I scoff at them.
