Hi all. Another saved set! Answered a CL ad, they were in a storage unit. Bizarre setup. Keystone badges. Decent shape, easy save, but what happens to all those bottom rims and rods?!!! Might be a little tricky, and overly expensive finding them. Probably will just use key rods, like on the re-issues. Anybody got any great sources? No extra holes, tho!!!! Got an neat ride cymbal with it, a Roxy, made in Germany. Sounds real "K-ish". Ringo hihat, and Speedking, a couple of flat base stands, 2 smaller A Zildjians and two MIJ snares. One's a chrome "Bruno", the other no name Slingy copy. I'm liking the swirl wrap on it.. Here's the before shot...
Club Date needin' love....Got sources?
Man, you look happier than a pig in $hit! As well you should be. After you're done with those, you'll have a killer vintage kit to knock around on.

Crash, Nice save. The T-rods for the toms are no problem to fine and the rims..The T-rods on the bass drum their was some on Ebay the other day 10 rods with a B.I.N. for 20.00 they may still be up for sale..Mikey

That's actually not me. It's his pic from the CL ad.Note the ski poles holding the 12" tom up!
And yes, I'm pretty happy about this score. Been wanting a small sized kit, almost pulled the trigger on one of the '57 Renown blowouts. I'm even happier with real vintage! Faux Marble RK's for bigger rooms, this'll be the Club Kit. Kinda ending up with my vintage favorites. Now, if I can only get onto rewrapping the S/S Gretsch set that's in storage. The Rock Kit..
I really do have fun gigging tho. Probably as much as the other guy! This pic's me with "The Dentures" surf band. Wipeout!!!!
