Thats very sad. I loved his playing on the first few Maiden albums. I thought he was a very soulful player even in the genera and band he was playing. My heart goes out to his family.

Oooooohhh. I knew he was ill a few years back; was sorry to hear that, then.

Always loved his energy and setup, in early Maiden. Saw him and the band perform at North Stage, in Glen Cove, LI. Must've been 1981, or so. Great show. Even though it was 175 degrees in the joint, none of us took off our leather jackets. Again, great show! What a night! What a time!!

RIP, Metal God Time-Keeper! "Hallowed Be Thy Name", in the Metal Church.

Always loved the intro to "Murders in the Rue Morgue". Practiced it at every rehearsal in the 80's.

Clive was one of my favorite hard rock drummers.

Fair play to Maiden, they supported him through the illness setting up a trust fund and doing benefit shows for him.

He is missed.

Early on he played ludwig 10,12,13,14 toms 16,18 floor toms.

Later he was playing Tama looks like 8,10,12,13 toms.

I always remember the smallest Tom on his sets was above the second.

Fast hands. D' Drummer
