Clear Vistalite Snare

I have a 10 lug vistalite snare in great condition (you have to REALLY look close to see any MINOR surface scratches). It still has the original bottom head and wires. I am not sure about the sound...doesn't have the same pop as an Acrolite, but has a nice rocker sound. You can loosen it it and it has a nice soft jazz sound.

Does anyone know anything about these? I figure it must have been a better model since it was a 10-lug instead of an 8-lug.

I'm pretty sure all of the vistalite snare drums had 10 lugs.

That is a great drum in great shape. I've been seeing colored ones in similar shape and size go for a couple hundred on the bay. Cool1

If insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, is it insane to practice?
