Citrus Mod: now you see it, now you don't

Loading...

About five years ago I sold my Citrus Jazz fest I acquired from Liam Mulholland back in the 90's. When purchased it was the only one known to collectors. Since then several have appeared which were wrapped in black panther originally. Then, about 10-15 years ago Jack Lawton acquired a big citrus bass drum, 36 or 38 inch diameter. He peeled the wrap and made a few reproductions, which sold fast. Two grand is a steal for an original citrus jazz fest imo.

Don't you still have one Bun E? I would like to clone one to go with my original 1971 set. It would be fun to have one and I certainly won't be able to drop two grand on one. Not that I would ever even have the opportunity to purchase one. They are stupid rare.

From Dan Boucher

It would be interesting to hear a side-by-side trial of a Jazz Festival and your tribute drum. Nice looking snare.

Hi Dan!

Yes, that would be interesting!
