Chrome polishing - a Mapex

Loading...

Not a vintage drum by any means. Its a Mapex I bought for 40bux and man was it every grungy. So, I post my first experience with chrome polish. I used Meguiars polish and I'm quite thrilled with the results so far. Two before, one current.

Those lugs are Pearl.

Could be a 70's era Pearl.

Put a magnet to the shell.

If you are lucky it won't stick.

Some Pearls were Chrome over Brass like the Jupiter.

Definitely Pearl lugs there. Extra score if it's brass!

Kindly check out my Sold on Simmichrome post. After chrome polishing, I still got tarnish and grime off and then the shine was amazing. flower
