Picking this up tomorrow with soft case, stand, pad, etc.

Looking at the badge info it would be late 80's early 90's if Im not mistaken.

Looks mint and for $100 I dont think Im going wrong....or am I?

doesnt sound like an acro. that should be one of the ludwig import steel shells. they sound pretty good, but aren't seamless aluminum like the acros are supras are.

might wanna check ebay for some competed auctions for value. ive seen these sell for a bit cheaper. if its pristine and sounds good, that could be worth something to you of course.

Thanks Mike!

Im really getting it for the stand and case and will probably flip the snare or keep it at my bass players house to use on his kit.

Who knows I may also make a project out of it DOH

Picked up and just got home with it.

It is MINT.

Looks hardly played and sounds surprisingly good for a "budget drum".

Im going to take it over to my bass players house tonight and use it on his kit.

Came with a nice soft bag, stand, sticks (5 pair), vacuum practice pad and a rudiments book.

It's an LM 300. They're great steel-shelled dums (the brass and bronze are terrific too). They're more or less Ludwig's version of a Pearl Sensitone.

Ludwig makes 8 lug steel snares too (LR719 and LR720 with the sort of Gretsch-y looking lug), and those are pretty cheesy. What's bizarre is that the cheesy ones are often pricd more expensive than the LM300s!

I took it over and played it with the group on friday night, loved it!

My bass player loved it so much its now his (just the drum).

So I sold the drum for $50, kept the case, stand, pad, book and sticks.
