Chicago Drum Show Question

Loading...

I have a bunch of odds and ends that I load in my parents car each year to bring to the drum show hoping that I can trade for the stuff I need. Whenever I find something there, the guy (it's usually a guy) only wants to give me about 1/2 of what my stuff is worth. I'm not looking to steal stuff, but I'd like it to be somewhat fair. Is the show the wrong place for that to happen? I don't want to load all this stuff up and haul it down there just to bring it back again. Am I better off trying to trade it here? What are your thoughts?

It depends on what stuff!

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Unfortunately, eBay is usually the best place to get top dollar for your drums. Shipping is the sucky part of the equation.
