The seller is not furking wacked. He's a very nice man and is known around with the vintage drum collectors...If you know the history behind this set and how rare of a set it is.Its a one of a kind set.If i had an extra 49,000.00 i would buy the set.....Mikey

You are not just paying for the drums you are paying for the history of that drum set it is probably on over 100 top hits from the 60's and 70's kinda like buying a GTO car I know i would not pay that amount like 30 thou for a old car but it is worth that and more to some folks...

does this mean the economy is turning around and we can sell our kits for what there worth instead of giving them away!!!!!

66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Plus one Mike! It is also the developmental set for the Ludy Octoplus Drumsets...huge history behind this kit. You're talking about the drummer from the infamous Wrecking Crew, between Hal & Earl Palmer, just about every Hit Pop song you remember from the sixties & seventies were played by one of these guys. If I had an extra $49K setting around, I'd be all over it.

"Play the drum...don't let it play you" - Max Roach

1971, 1976 Slingerland GK Sound King

19?- Ludwig Field Snare (US Marines)
1960's Premier Gold Glitter Student Snare kit
1960's-? MIJ Snares (way-way too many)
